Eight plastics recovery stations have been brought on line at municipal Drop-Off centres in the Cape Town Metro area, and eleven in Gauteng, where community members can drop off plastics to avoid these being dumped in landfill sites.?Polystyrene can be dropped off at no cost, and recyclers will, in turn, collect from these centres. There is also a facility available in Franschhoek, where these materials can be dropped off. Drop-Off Centres are located at:
